Understanding your bill

We’ve created this guide to help you understand key points on your monthly premium billing statement.

Member ID

Your Sharp Health Plan member ID number, which identifies you as the main contact on the account.

Statement Date

The date the bill is created. Billing activity that happens after this date will be included on your next bill.

Bill Period

The time frame your payment covers.

Previous Amount Due

The remaining unpaid balance due from a prior billing statement.

Total Amount Due

The total amount that must be paid in full by your “Please Pay By” date.

Please Pay By date

The due date by which your payment must be posted and received by Sharp Health Plan.

Creating an online account makes it easy to pay your bill.

  • Pay your premium bill by credit card, debit card or e-check.
  • Set up convenient automatic payments. Remember to update your automatic payments if your premium amount changes or your health coverage is terminated for any reason.
