What should I know about my monthly premium bill?

We send you a premium bill each month if your benefit plan has a monthly premium, if you added or upgraded your dental coverage, or if you have late enrollment penalties from Medicare. This is different from the Medicare Part A and Part B premiums you pay directly to Medicare.

Here are seven key points you should look at in your premium bill each month.


Member ID

Your Sharp Health Plan member ID number, which identifies you as the main contact on the account.

Statement date

The date the bill is created. Billing activity that happens after this date will be included on your next bill.

Bill period

The time frame your payment covers.

Previous amount due

The remaining unpaid balance due from a prior billing statement.

Amount due

The total amount that must be paid in full by your “Please Pay By” date.

Please pay by

The due date by which your payment must be posted and received by Sharp Health Plan.
Mail payments to this address, or pay by credit card, debit card or e-check from your Sharp Health Plan online account.

Paperless premium billing
