This flu season, getting your flu shot is more important than ever. Sharp Health Plan covers
the flu shot under your preventive care services at no cost to you. Here's what you can do to get vaccinated today.
At your next appointment, ask your primary care physician (PCP) about getting your flu shot. If you’d like to receive a flu shot sooner, you have options: You can get one at your local MinuteClinic® or through your plan medical group.
See below for your specific medical group information.
Visit a MinuteClinic near you to get a flu vaccine. MinuteClinics are located inside select CVS Pharmacy® stores — before you head out, check to make sure you’re going to a location that offers a MinuteClinic. There is no copay for flu vaccinations.
Please note: the operating hours of some MinuteClinics may vary daily and by location because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Your plan medical group may also offer the seasonal flu vaccine in other ways, such as drive-up vaccination stations, to make getting your flu shot safe and convenient.
IMPORTANT: Be sure to choose an option that’s within your plan medical group. If you’re unsure which plan medical group you belong to, simply check the front of your Sharp Health Plan member ID card. As always, bring your member ID card
with you when getting care.
We’re offering our members $0 COVID-19 screening and testing, as well as $0 treatment received April 1, 2020 through Jan. 31, 2021. Telehealth visits for COVID-19 are covered too.
Flu season will begin while we’re still managing the spread of COVID-19.
COVID-19 will still be around when the flu season begins. What are the risks of having both?
