Sharp Advantage and its providers participate in a variety of national quality measurement programs to determine plan performance and measure the health improvement of our members. These programs include, but are not limited to:

  • Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS)
  • Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS)
  • Health Outcomes Survey (HOS)
  • National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Accreditation
  • Medicare Star Ratings

Medicare evaluates plans based on a 5-Star rating system. Star Ratings are calculated each year and may change from one year to the next. To compare other star ratings and find detailed reports on the findings, go to www.medicare.gov. Sharp Advantage does not have Star rating information available at this time as this is a new plan offering.
